Four games last week for the NEFA players, with some great goals !
The reserves (NEFA) suffered a 3-6 defeat against Sheffield FC reserves on Saturday, with goals from Walford, Whitham and Murr. Although not the result we wanted, this squad is mainly made up of under 17 players, playing in a senior league so great for their development.
The Under 19’s (NEFA) had three games last week. The first team drew 3-3 with Guiseley, with goals from Lane, Alsop and Pyke. This was a positive result against a very highly regarded academy that has seen several players make the step into professional football recently.
The seconds lost 1-4 against Guiseley seconds with Evison getting the goal and the thirds lost 2-3 against Wath 2nds with Jack Smith getting a brace.
