Match Review: Deeping Rangers (H)
The Bulls recorded an important win yesterday at the Forest Town Arena, which will help the Bulls in their quest to remain at step 5 football.
The Bulls did however have to work hard to gain the win. Mansfield started poorly conceding two early goals.
Ben Seymour Shove put Deeping in front, following a close ranged shot from inside the Bulls area on the third minute beating Dearle.
Shove scored his second of the day following poor defending from the Bulls, Shove managed to dart pass the Bulls defence finding some space inside the area, which allowed him to get a shot away.
With what seemed like a mountain to climb, Joe Harrison gave the Bulls some hope with a goal just before half-time with a shot from inside the area.
The Gaffers half-time team talk proved effective as the Bulls grew in confidence, in a epic five minutes for the Bulls, Thomas Lees-Collier equalised for the Bulls with a outstanding shot from the edge of the area which curled away from the Deeping keeper although he did get a hand to it he was unable to keep the ball from hitting the back of the net.
The Bulls comeback was complete two minutes later, with Lees-Collier once again being in the right place to score a close ranged effort.
