The Bulls can now confirm the backroom staff for the 24/25 season. Buxton will be assisted by Joe Kearney, first-team coach Jake Hemstock, and returning Bulls legend Jonathan D'Laryea.
Joe Kearney
First Team Assistant Manager
Joe Kearney joined The Bulls back in the 2022/23, being named assistant to manager Phil Buxton, the pair guided the club to safety securing wins against the likes of Deeping Rangers to keep the Bulls playing at step-5 football.
Jake Hemstock
First Team Coach
The Bulls first team coach Jake Hemstock has also committed himself for the 24/25 season, Jake has shown passion and commitment during his at time at The Bulls thus far and has been great addition to the coaching team since joining AFC Mansfield last year.
Jake, who has a number of years of experience coaching youth and adults football was previously the manager of Grantham Town Academy's step-6 side.
Jonathan D'Laryea
First Team Player/Coach
The Bulls also welcome back club legend Jonathan D'Laryea to the Forest Town Arena.
D'Laryea is no stranger to the Bulls, with manager Phil Buxton, Jon was an integral part of the Bulls teams that achieved promotion and reached the third qualifying round of the F.A Cup. After a brief stint at Long Eaton United, he returned to the club and saw out the rest of his career with the Bulls, going on to make 189 appearances for AFC and becoming the sixth highest all-time appearance holder for the club.
Claire Bowie
First Team Physio
Claire joined The Bulls partway through last season, Claire, who is from Mansfield, owns Claire Bowie Sports Massage Therapy. Â
