Goals galore !

The Bulls edge the friendly against Chesterfield Under 21s.

It was an entertaining friendly at Hallam Sports Park as the Bulls ran out 5-4 winners against Chesterfield U21s.

The Bulls made a great start opening the scoring within 75 seconds when a Bouheraoua free kick was stabbed home by Ackroyd 1-0. Chesterfield then took control of the game and were the better side in the first half going into the break 2-1 up. Just after the break a fantastic header from Tahar equalled the score 2-2. Some sloppy defending then saw Chesterfield score two more to take a 4-2 lead.

The Bulls then improved with a great cross from Dixon being met by Hardwick 3-4, a mazy run from Lane and finish from outside the box 4-4 and Ackroyd scoring the winner from the penalty spot 5-4.

Our thanks go to Chesterfield for bringing their side, a cracking game of football.

There were debuts for 16 year old NEFA players Max Robinson, Cole Whitham, Kyle Austin and Whylie Walford, who all impressed, the latter hitting the woodwork with a 20 yard strike.
