Abbs takes the helm.
The Bulls are delighted to announce that Michael Abbs has accepted the role of Chairman of our football club.
Incoming Chairman Michael Abbs stated "It is an honour it is to be asked to be Chairman of AFC Mansfield. Having been involved with the club since 2012, initially as a supporter then becoming a Director in May 2013 I've seen many high and lows over the years. I'm now looking forward to working closely with Spencer and Ryan and the committee to fulfil the aims of AFC Mansfield - increasing the links with the community of Forest Town both on and off the playing field, and working with young talented players to help them progress in football".
Owner Spencer Fearn stated "when NEFA took over at the Bulls it was not the intention for Ryan or myself to assume the position of Chair and Vice - Chair permanently. What we have both seen since May what an important role Mike plays and his love for our football club. Since day one, he has been a tremendous support, and becoming Chairman is a reflection of how highly we value him. I know he will be a brilliant Chairman and we are delighted that he accepted the role"
