AFC remain undefeated in 2019 after a solid defensive display saw the Bulls earn a valuable point against high-flyers Tadcaster.
Some excellent defending stopped 'Taddy' from edging ahead early on, with Jordan Annable and Jon D'Laryea clearing Albion efforts off the goal line within two minutes of each other, with the second occasion seeing Aiden Savory's header crashing against the post.
The Brewers hit the woodwork again towards the end of the first half, as Christopher Howarth's header from close range skimmed the crossbar.
Joe Iaciofano continued to show his worth for his loan side, and almost created a chance out of nothing when he burst forward down the middle before unleashing a long-ranger which unfortunately flew high and wide.
AFC were never quite able to create a clear-cut chance of their own, and Bulls goalkeeper Jason White was called to save the day when he tipped Joe Lumsden's low effort wide in a glaring one-on-one opportunity.
White came to the rescue again with 10 minutes to go when he turned Lumsden's effort from a tight angle around the front post with his foot.
The Bulls continued to look dangerous on the break, however, and Sean Whaler did brilliantly with a run down the right before allowing Ollie Fearon to shoot from distance - only to see his effort blocked.
AFC rise to 17th in the NPL East Division table after the result, and face another promotion-chasing side in Brighouse Town away from home next weekend.
