PREVIEW | Maltby Main (H)

The Bulls are at home once again on Saturday afternoon as Maltby Main visit the Forest Town Arena, subject to a pitch inspection.

Wet weather has put the game into question, with an inspection planned for 10:45am.

AFC, unbeaten in four in all competitions, hope not only to make it three league games without defeat but also their first league victory since late August - their last win came at home against Eccleshill United, when a Ross Duggan double earned a 2-0 win.

A win could bump the men in red up to 14th in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.

Last Time Out

AFC made it two league games without a defeat, but also their second consecutive draw as Silsden came from behind to snatch a late point.

Ross Duggan and Brandon Webster scored within minutes of half-time on either side of the break, but Laurence Surhaindo headed Silsden right back into the tie before Mark Everingham slotted home a free-kick minutes from time.

The Opposition

Matt Chatfield's side clash with Maltby for the second time in 11 days, after being the Miners 5-4 on penalties in the third round of the NCEL League Cup.

Goals from Luke Walker and Brandon Webster earned a deserved 2-0 lead, but the literally uphill battle in the second half proved too much as Maltby got right back into it with two goals in five minutes.

The game then went to an immediate penalty shoot-out, and some heroics from Dylan Parkin allowed Duggan to net the winning spot-kick against his old club.

Team News

Bulls boss Chatfield will be missing a few more key names from his matchday squad.

Whilst vice-captain Jordan Annable is unavailable, experienced midfielder Jamie McGuire begins serving his minimum three-match ban after being sent off in the 1-1 draw with Penistone Church.
