The first league win of the season for the Bulls.
The Bulls delivered another good performance and secured their first league win of the 22/23 campaign. New signings Nathaniel Peters and Vinny Mukendi started, with Oliver Lawrence moving into midfield and third signing Charlie Dixon on the bench.
The Bulls created a host of chances in the first half with Mukendi and Hardwick going close on several occasions and Tahar htting the woodwork, before an error led to a penalty being awarded to the visitors on 41 minutes, which was converted by Thatcher 0-1. The Bulls were level within minutes when a Barre corner was forced home by debutant Peters 1-1. A fantastic run from Hardwick as he powered through the opposition defence led to a penalty and Ackroyd converted the penalty 2-1 for his eigth goal of the season.
The second half was one where the Bulls dominated in the main. Warhurst made an excellent point blank save before Mukendi went on a run beating two defenders, before slotting home to secure the three points 3-1.
