PREVIEW | Silsden (H)

The Bulls are back in action for yet another midweek game under the lights.

AFC welcome Silsden to the Forest Town Arena still in search of their first league win since August.

Form has improved for Matt Chatfield's side, however, who are also hoping to make it their fourth match unbeaten in all competitions.

The Bulls could jump up to 17th with a victory.

Kick-off at the FTA is 7:45pm.

Last Time Out

Despite having a man less for over 50 minutes, AFC came just minutes away from an inspiring win over league leaders Penistone Church.

Ross Duggan latched onto Phil Buxton's perfect pull-back to fire the Bulls into a first-half lead, but only three minutes later experienced midfielder Jamie McGuire was shown a straight red card.

The table toppers pushed hard for a leveller after the break, but if not for Grant Ryan missing a key one-on-one chance with five minutes left on the clock, an important victory would have been sealed.

The hosts, however, were cruelly denied all three points when Danny Howes headed home from close range on 88 minutes, and were forced to share the spoils.

The Opposition

With just six places and five points separating Silsden from the Bulls, there is little so far to tell between the two sides.

The Cobbydalers are also enjoying their own miniature unbeaten run, currently on three league games without defeat.

It'll be the first meeting between AFC and Silsden, who were playing in the North West Counties Football League up until this season.

Team News

Despite his red card on Saturday, midfielder Jamie McGuire remains available for selection but will be suspended from next Saturday.

But the Bulls will still be hit by absences, with David Corder, Luke Walker, Connor McMillan and Dylan Parkin all unavailable for selection.
