PREVIEW | Pickering Town (A)

The Bulls face a midweek trip as they travel to relegation rivals Pickering Town on Tuesday night for what we can expect to be a huge six-pointer.

Ollie Fearon's hat-trick helped to see off Loughborough Dynamo in a brilliant 3-0 win over Saturday's visitors, a massive boost which lifted AFC to 16th in the Evo-Stik NPL East Division table.

The Bulls are level on points with Pickering as it stands, with the Pikes only just edging AFC on goal difference, so a win would build a gap between the sides and possibly even lift the Bulls to 14th.

THE OPPOSITION

Pickering are no strangers to the Bulls, beating them to the second of two automatic promotion spots in the NCEL Premier Division last season on goal difference after being granted an extended season.

With both teams on 25 points, their campaigns have gone similarly so far, although the Pikes hold the advantage of a game-in-hand over their opponents.

AFC will be looking to secure a league double over their relegation rivals on Tuesday night, having beaten them 2-1 in the reverse fixture back in August.

TEAM NEWS

Luke Fletcher will be unavailable to make the trip to North Yorkshire, but defender Mark Dudley returns from suspension and will free for selection.

Midfielder Pat Lindley remains sidelined with two games of his suspension still to be served.
