PREVIEW | Ossett United (A)

The Bulls are back on the road as they visit promotion-chasing Ossett United in their next NPL East Division fixture, with kick-off at 3pm.

The tie was originally scheduled to be played on 2 February, but icy weather conditions forced the match to be postponed.

A slender 1-0 defeat to Pontefract last weekend condemned Mark Ward's side to their third successive league defeat, although they remain three points clear of the relegation zone.

Victory could help the Bulls leapfrog Wisbech Town into 14th and go as many as six points clear of danger if other results go their way.

THE OPPOSITION

Newly-formed United are the result of a merge between former Ossett clubs Albion and Town, who came together in June 2018 after years of merging talk.

Their inaugural season in the Northern Premier League has seen plenty of success, with United sixth in the East Division table with 49 points.

Their first ever meeting with the Bulls back in October ended in a 1-1 draw at the Forest Town Arena, in which Kieran Wells levelled after Karl Jones gave the visitors an early lead.

TEAM NEWS

The gaffer may have to deal without injured midfielders Jimmy Ghaichem and Pat Lindley, whose involvement in Saturday's game remains uncertain.

Ellis Wall will also be unavailable tomorrow, leaving Mark Ward with a small squad to choose from.
