PREVIEW | Ossett United (A)

The Bulls are on the road again as they visit promotion-chasing Ossett United in their next NPL East Division fixture, with kick-off at 3pm.

A disappointing second half saw the Bulls well beaten by Loughborough Dynamo, who ran out 4-1 winners at the ADT Stadium last weekend.

Despite the defeat, AFC can still climb as high as 14th in the East Division table if victorious at Ingfield.

Due to the recent snowy and icy weather, there will be a pitch inspection on Saturday morning to determine whether the match will go ahead.

THE OPPOSITION

Newly-formed United are the result of a merge between former Ossett clubs Albion and Town, who came together in June 2018 after years of merging talk.

Their inaugural season in the Northern Premier League has seen plenty of success, with United sixth in the East Division table with 40 points.

Their first ever meeting with the Bulls back in October ended in a 1-1 draw at the Forest Town Arena, in which Kieran Wells levelled after Karl Jones gave the visitors an early lead.

TEAM NEWS

With no new injuries since the 4-1 defeat at Loughborough, AFC have just the two absentees with Mark Dudley joining Pat Lindley on the suspended list after seeing red late on last weekend.
