PREVIEW | Liversedge (H)

The Bulls remain at home this Saturday when they welcome Liversedge to the Forest Town Arena in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.

Matt Chatfield's side will be looking to lift themselves up the table after a lack of league action due to numerous cup ties.

Currently sat in 10th position, the Bulls could rise as high as pole position if they clinch all three points, provided that other results go their way.

AFC will also be looking to keep their 100% home record intact on Saturday, having won all five games on home turf so far.

Kick-off at the Forest Town Arena will be 3pm.

Last Time Out

Last weekend provided what will probably be looked back upon as one of the games of the season.

Spirited local rivals Rainworth went 2-0 up at the Forest Town Arena in the Buildbase FA Vase Second Qualifying Round tie despite Jermain Palmer's red card on the half-hour mark, but Jordan Annable pulled one back just before the break.

That goal proved to be vital, as AFC pushed on and levelled through Ross Duggan's emphatic finish before Brandon Webster slotted home a late winner to round off a pleasing comeback and an entertaining game.

The Opposition

Liversedge have enjoyed a similar start to their league campaign, having picked up 10 points from five outings, whilst AFC have picked up seven having played a game less.

Sedge went their first four games without a loss, but a late 4-2 home defeat to Knaresborough on Tuesday night put an end to their unbeaten streak.

AFC will be welcoming back former Bulls Liam Marsden and Ollie Fearon, who joined the West Yorkshire side in the summer and both coincidentally scored against Knaresborough on Tuesday.

Team News

Matt Chatfield welcomes both Ben Potter and Tom Slone back to the squad ahead of Saturday, although the Bulls will have to cope without striker Jack Warwick and winger Brandon Webster who are unavailable.
