PREVIEW | Heanor Town (A)

The Bulls take another break from league action with the Emirates FA Cup Preliminary Round on the horizon.

A thumping 7-0 win at Sleaford Town allowed AFC to progress to the second stage of the famous trophy, with Ross Duggan netting on five occasions.

The tie kicks off at 3pm at The Town Ground, DE75 7EN.

Last Time Out

Matt Chatfield's Bulls returned to winning ways on Tuesday night as they made it two homes wins from two, this time against Eccleshill United.

Ross Duggan was again at the centre of it all, netting twice in the first half before a solid defensive display in the second period saw out a comfortable victory after a weekend defeat to Staveley.

The Opposition

Saturday's hosts were strangely also 7-0 away victors in the previous round, thrashing Radford FC on their own turf two weekends ago.

The cup run has kept them mostly away from any league action, with just one game and one point under their belts so far in the East Midlands Counties Football League Premier Division.

Team News

The Bulls will be able to field their first-choice striking pair again as Jack Warwick returns to the side from the three-match suspension he picked up on the opening day of the season.

Midfielder Richard Williams will miss the short trip to Derbyshire, however, whilst several other players face fitness tests before kick-off.
