The Bulls look to bounce back to winning ways on the road at Bottesford Town in the Toolstation NCEL Premier Division.
Defeat to Liversedge last weekend ended AFC's 100% start to their home campaign in all competitions, but Matt Chatfield's side can surge back up the table with a win to put last week's disappointment behind them.
Kick-off at Birkdale Park is 3pm.
Last Time Out
Despite having dozens of chances to earn all three points last weekend, AFC dropped all three at the hands of visitors Liversedge, who fielded three former Bulls in their starting 11.
One of the trio, Ollie Fearon, even notched a goal against his ex-club when he pounced on a major error from Hugo Warhurst and tapped home.
Ross Duggan then headed the Bulls level early in the second half, before both he and fellow striker Luke Walker missed key chances to go ahead.
Waiting patiently for their moment to strike, Sedge caught their hosts cold on the counter late on with a cruel but clinical eight-minute hat-trick from Joe Walton, with a consolation from Luke Walker wedged in between Walton's second and third.
The Opposition
Hosts Bottesford have remained fairly comfortably in the NCEL Premier Division since their promotion from Division One in 2016.
AFC have fond memories of their brief history with the Poachers, doing the double over their Lincolnshire counterparts in the Bulls' promotion season in 2017/18, including a comprehensive 4-1 victory in their last visit to Birkdale Park.
Bottesford will be looking not only for revenge, but also for a first league win since beating Albion Sports on the opening day of the season.
Team News
Bar an injured goalkeeper in Hugo Warhurst who looks doubtful with a back strain, Bulls boss Matt Chatfield is set to have a full squad to choose from on Saturday.
A new signing from the BetVictor Northern Premier League is likely to be in between the sticks for AFC tomorrow afternoon.
