Pitch restoration underway and pre-season starts Saturday (Bulls fans welcome!)

Work started today on the pitch to ensure it is ready for the season ahead. As notfied previously the home games against Grantham U23s (9/7/22) and Dodworth (16/7/22) have been moved to Hallam Sports Park, with the first game at the Forest Town Arena scheduled for Tuesday 19th July when we host Retford United (7.30p.m kick off), followed by a local derby v Shirebrook on 23rd July (12p.m kick off).

Chairman / Joint Manager Spencer Fearn stated "we are extremely thankful to Donna at Woodhouse Colts for moving a pre-arranged tournament to allow us three clear weeks to work on the pitch. No work has been undertaken on the pitch since the last close season, which has meant it currently resembles a supermarket car park more than a football pitch, however, this time will allow much needed work to be completed to get it to the required standard, so we are ready for the big kick off"

The first Bulls pre-season session is this Saturday at Phoenix Sports and Social Club (post code S60 5PA) between 12p.m - 1.15p.m. Any Bulls fans wishing to come to see the new look team are more than welcome to attend. Joint Manager John Stancliffe stated "all of our training sessions are open to Bulls fans should they want to come and see how we train, it would be great to see them on Saturday as we build for the season ahead"

And we are off ! 3 weeks to make it look like the Wembley of the North !
