Match Review: Heather St Johns (A)
AFC Mansfield gained the all-important win at St John's Park which was played under the lights.
AFC Mansfield started the better team and it just took eight minutes for the Bulls to open the scoring with a low-driven shot from Surafel Tefera which beat the Heather Keeper.
Chances continued for the Bulls, midfielder Ethan Hulley with an audacious shot from a distance which narrowly whistles past the post.
The Bulls had a momentary lapse of concentration with the home side capitalizing on a loose ball, Heather's Jordan Godfrey scored to bring things level at half-time.
However, it took just five minutes for the Bulls to regain the lead, with another excellent shot

The Bulls continued to work hard until the final whistle marking the Gaffer's first win since being reappointed, which also marked his 330th appearance for the club.
