Preparations for the 2020/21 season begin tomorrow for AFC, hosted by local rivals Clipstone.
The eagerly anticipated event sees the Bulls play their first match against opposition of any kind in nearly five months, kicking off at 3pm at the Lido Ground.
It will have been 144 days since the 0-0 draw with Maltby Main, AFC's last kick of 2019/20 football.
Matt Chatfield's side ran out 4-2 winners in their last encounter with the Clipstone; Ross Duggan (2) and former Bulls players Jack Warwick and Brett Lucas were on the score sheet against the Cobras.
Due to current government restrictions regarding COVID-19, tomorrow's game - as well as all pre-season fixtures - will be held behind closed doors, but there remains hope for crowds to return in September.
Fans hoping to keep up with the match will be able to watch via livestream, thanks to Clipstone's media team.
There will also be limited Twitter coverage (@AFCMansfield) of the game.
