AFC Mansfield are delighted to welcome Graham Hall as the club's new Secretary and Match Day Secretary.
Graham was Secretary for the Mansfield Youth Football League for an incredible 35 years, and stood down last year whilst remaining on the league's committee.
From 1993, Graham was a council member on the Nottinghamshire County FA, before becoming Vice President in 2010.
"I've known Andy [Saunders] for a long time, so I'm more than pleased to give whatever I can for AFC Mansfield," he told afcmansfield.net after joining the club in his new role.
"I've long admired AFC Mansfield and they are a very forward-thinking football club, not just with first team but junior section as well - I'm glad to give whatever experience and support I can.
Graham was first involved with Warsop Youth Club from 1969 as the club's Secretary, then taking on the same role with Warsop Sports - which eventually became Welbeck Welfare and then Welbeck Lions - from 1971 to 1974.
From 2010, he was briefly the club Chairman and a committee member, before the club sadly folded.
"As much as I really enjoyed my time at Welbeck, I'm sad for a number of reasons that the club has had to fold.
"Hopefully I'll be able to help anyone within the community that wants to see the reemergence of a football club."
Chairman Andrew Saunders was ecstatic to welcome such an experienced figure in local football to the club: "He brings with him a huge amount of experience having been Secretary at Welbeck and the Mansfield Youth League.
"He will be a tremendous asset to the club."
