Late turnaround earns win at Harworth

AFC earned their fifth victory of pre-season with two late goals at Harworth Colliery.

After a goalless first half, the hosts opened the scoring but Matt Chatfield's Bulls were able to come from behind and hold onto a pleasing win.

Mansfield had most of the game's chances, as Harworth stopper Steven Wibberly did well to keep the Bulls at bay in the first half.

Colliery then took an early lead after the break as a right-handed cross was converted inside the penalty area.

With 75 minutes gone, Matt Sykes levelled with a low drive, before skipper Phil Buxton bundled home AFC's second just a minute later.

The Bulls move onto their final pre-season fixture this Saturday, when they host Swallownest at the Forest Town Arena at 3pm.
