Goals from the Weekend

First team in a 2-0 reverse at Loughborough and Reserves win 2-0.

The Bulls travelled to top of the table Loughborough Students and delivered a promising display despite being on the end of a 2-0 defeat.

In a first half of few chances the only clear opportunity for our hosts was when O'Toole got through and finished after 27 minutes. The Bulls came close just before half-time when the ball was scrambled just past the post. HT 0-1.

A very even second half in terms of chances saw Warhurst make a tremendous point blank save, before Hardwick powered through and his shot was saved by the Keeper. A change of shape saw the Bulls on the front foot more before a penalty was conceded with four minutes to go which was converted 0-2.

Overall another good performance against a side that have only dropped two points all season.

Our Reserves (NEFA) recorded their first win of the season. A team largely made up of Under 17's and 18's won 2-0 with goals from Harry Shepherd and the veteran of the side Lasana Touray (20) who made his return after being in Spain for the summer. The goal from Touray is a cracker!

The Bulls are away at Blidworth in the Notts Cup on Tuesday, 7.45p.m kick off before playing Eastwood at home this coming Saturday. The Reserves are next up at Mansfield Hoisery Mills in the BIL Cup.
