A disappointed Rudy Funk told afcmansfield.net that his AFC side were comfortably beaten by a "fantastic" Loughborough Dynamo.
The Bulls were level with their promotion-chasing opponents at half-time after Joe Iaciofano swivelled and finished first-time in clinical fashion in response to Luke Thorogood's opener, but they fell to pieces in the second half as Dynamo put a further three past Jason White in a rampant display, before full-back Mark Dudley saw red in injury time.
"At the end of the day we played against a fantastic Loughborough side. Make no mistake, they have some very, very good players," Funk said after the 4-1 defeat.
"To be perfectly honest, I was chuffed at half-time with our lads and told them to stick with how they finished (the first half).
"Particularly in the last 30 minutes of the first half I thought we were real value for money, but after that everything went pear-shaped. It was a couple of individual mistakes, our heads dropped, and at the end of the day we got beat quite comfortably.
"We've got to move on and keep on improving, have a look at what's gone wrong and hopefully we can put it right."
