The Bulls have continued to strengthen ties with Sky Bet League Two side Mansfield Town by signing hot prospect Keaton Ward on loan.
The attacking midfielder arrives at the Forest Town Arena for a one-month loan with AFC, with hope of boosting the Bulls' survival hopes.
Ward is described as a dynamic midfielder with a real eye for "finding pockets of space on the pitch" and "exploiting" that space.
The 19-year-old is the second player to join AFC on loan from the Stags this season alongside Cameron Healey, who headed back to the One Call Stadium earlier this month.
Ward has regularly featured for the Stags' reserves this season, and netted in his final appearance against Rotherham United before heading out on loan.
He will be immediately available for today's home fixture against Loughborough Dynamo.
