The Bulls are pleased to announce that the club has been awarded a £1500 grant by the Football Foundation.
The Pitch Preparation Fund grant will go towards readying the pitch at the Forest Town Arena for the next campaign.
The funding will help to cover costs in seeding, rolling and lining the pitch, allowing AFC to be ready for the new season, whenever it may begin.
Chairman Andrew Saunders said he was "extremely pleased" to have won the funding.
"It's a great little initiative which can be a huge help for clubs at our level - the management were also very pleased to hear the good news," he said.
"It's another step in the right direction for the club as we're hoping for more success next season.
"We're all raring to go, not just the manager and first team but everyone who is involved at the club."
