AFC Mansfield

Well, a league championship last weekend, this weekend a cup final place confirmed and a 16-1 win.  All seems to be good in the AFC Mansfield family.

The under 10 boys recorded a 4-0 victory to progress to the cup final.  They will play Chesterfield Town in the final in what should be a cracking game as both teams are also going for the league title.

The under 15 boys cemented their place at the top of the league with a record 16-1 victory on Sunday.  There were 8 different scores with Dylan Hayes, James Gregory and Jordan Graves all scoring hat-tricks.  That is now 97 goals in 14 games for them and they are on target for a goal difference well in excess of 100.  What a performance.

The under 16 boys warmed up for the County Cup Semi Final with a7-0 victory over Brimwood.  The result was never in doubt with Brimwood only having 10 players from the start.  Next up the Cup Semi at home on Sun.

The under 11's recorded an 8-1 victory away at St Joseph's on Saturday to maintain their mid table position, improving their goal difference greatly.

Finally, the girls had a 4-1 victory away at West Bridgeford.

Well done to all this weekend that's 5 games and 5 wins. The AFC Mansfield picture is looking very rosy at this stage.  If anyone has nothing on Sunday morning the under 16 play the cup semi at Queensway.  The more support the merrier.

Bully Bully!!
