EASINGTON PROVIDE THE OPPOSITION

AFC Mansfield take on Easington United at the Forest Town Stadium this saturday with a 3pm kick-off.
Easington started the season very brightly but have since stuttered with form.
The team is based in the East Riding area near Hull and it is very hard judge what sort of team they will put out although up to yet have had very close games even when losing. So it will be a case of wait and see.

AFC will be without mercurial striker Carl Haslam who starts a 3 game ban picked up at Thorne where he was sent-off and have also lost centre half Steve Mcgurk who has fractured his jaw and will be out for 3 months.
Both have featured regularly for Mickeys men so far this season.
This is where the manager has to show his credentials and make sure the outcome of games will not be affected by the shortfall and may have to bring in new faces to cover the squad. It is going to be a testing few games for AFC Mansfield and a test of the metal of the fledgling club.
Promotion is the ultimate goal and 3 points Saturday is what is required.

THE BULLS need to be stubborn in the face of adversity !
